Floating bullet trains which travel at about 311mph have undergone their first test runs. The magnetic levitation trains use state-of-the-art technology to reach mind blowing speed. The use magnet to lift the train above the track eliminating the need for wheels and therefore removing the effect of friction and increasing its speed. The just happen to be the fastest aerodynamic trains ever manufactured. The first in use was in Shanghai which was opened to the public in January 2004 reaching a speed of 268mph due to short track length and costing about $1.3billion to build.
