Designer creates one red dress in seven different styles

 Every woman has walked into a shop and fallen in love with a dress on the hanger only to try it on and find it's too baggy or too tight in all the wrong places.

One designer London based Michaela Jedinak aims to put an end to the ill-fitting frock by designing one stunning dress in seven different cuts to flatter every body type (as long as you are a size 6-14).

The £595 dresses are made from Italian wool and elastane and all feature sleeves and a knee-length hem. Each style is then given a subtle twist to make it more flattering to the corresponding body type, including waist and neckline detail, cleverly placed darts or softly shaped skirts.

Supreme Court rules against Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in California

A landmark supreme court ruling struck down a controversial federal law that discriminated against gay couples in the US, delivering a stunning victory on Wednesday to campaigners who fought for years to overturn it.

The court also dismissed a separate appeal against same-sex marriage laws in California, restoring the right to gay marriage in the largest US state and nearly doubling the number of Americans living in states where gay marriage would be legal.

International soccer star Lionel Messi has paid €10 million ($13 million) in taxes to cover the tax period 2010-2011, prosecutors in Barcelona, Spain, told CNN Tuesday, but efforts to prosecute him for alleged tax fraud from 2007 to 2009 are still going ahead. Messi's payment does not affect the existing investigation into the alleged tax fraud, said Jose Miguel Compan, a spokesman for the Barcelona prosecutor's office. Messi's lawyer, Cristobal Martell, is not taking any calls from journalists, his office said Tuesday.

Amazing craft on egg shell

Chinese artist Pu Derong makes these incredibly intricate carvings on the most tricky surface imaginable - eggshells. The 40-year-old artist managed to teach himself the extraordinary skill of making three-dimensional images on the wafer-thin surfaces of eggs. Mr Derong, from Dongzhuangtou Village in northern China, could not afford art school but after hundreds of broken eggs, he finally cracked it. I love the designs on those shells personally.
